The service

ARIS is astrophotography control software: apps for iOS, Android, and web, plus a backend that runs on your own hardware (such as a Raspberry Pi). You bring your own equipment; ARIS controls it.

Free core

The single-rig core — connect and control, GoTo, plate-solve & center, guiding, focus, single-target capture, files, and Sky Atlas — is free, forever. It is not a trial and does not expire.

Plans & billing

Premium features are part of a paid plan billed monthly or yearly. If a plan lapses, your rig keeps working on the free core, your files are always on your disk, and premium features pause until you resubscribe — a lapse mid-session finishes the running night first. Annual plans carry a 90-day offline grace window.

Early access

Waitlist and founders' early-access programs are offered as-is while features mature; founders' pricing is locked to the account that purchased it.

Refunds

Acceptable use

Warranty & liability

Placeholder — the software is provided as-is; you are responsible for your equipment. Formal warranty and limitation-of-liability language will be reviewed by counsel before payments open.
